Residents

Jefferson County's government is chosen by and represents the county's roughly 48,000 residents. The government exists to provide services to its citizens and enforce laws on their behalf. In the menu at the right, you'll find links to some of the county's most frequently used services, including garbage disposal, senior services, animal control, schools, and tax collection, as well as a list of some local attractions. We believe that Jefferson County is a special place and we're proud of our residents. If you have feedback or questions about any of these services or this web site, feel free to contact the mayor's office at 397-3800 or by e-mail at: info@jeffersoncountytn.gov.
