Ten Frequently Asked Questions
How is nursing home care paid for?
Nursing home care can be paid for in several ways. The most common source of funding is Medicaid/TennCare. Medical and financial criteria must be met to qualify under this source. Please see your local state Department of Human Services for details. Other methods of funding include: Medicare for skilled services, Long-Term Care insurance, and privately paying for services.
Whom should I contact for further details or to initiate the admission process?
You may contact the admission coordinator by calling the facility at 865-397-3163. The nursing home does maintain both an in-county and out-of-county wait list. 7 a.m.-3 p.m.: 1 CNA to 8 residents
3 p.m.-11 p.m.: 1 CNA to 12-14 residents plus 4 feeding assistants
